Be Vewy Vewy Quiet, I'm Hunting Wabbit.

By the time the easter bunny visited we had hopped down to our new house in El Segundo. We didn't have any problem connecting with the bunny once we moved to town. The new house provided a number of new egg hiding places. Of course, some of the classic spots were still hit. Between the El Segundo Egg Hunt in Recreation Park, the hunt in our basement, and the Easter party at the Ferguson's we were quite experienced at tracking down multi-colored eggs by the end of the weekend.

It's Been So Long Since Last We Met...

In March we braved near wintry conditions to take Carson & Summer east to hang with Bob Georgetown.

It was so blustery even the indoor museum exhibits involved wind. Suffice to say, our wimpy California offspring were wondering where the nearest car was.

While we weren't able to make it to every monument, we did at least see them all thanks to the view from Kristi Sue's office rooftop.

Thanks to some high level connections we got to peddle some influence in the press room at the White House while on the West Wing tour.

But the real business of the weekend was with the Hoyas.

For the last time in regular season Big East Play the Hoyas sliced the Orange, and won the Big East regular season.

As much as Bill might have wanted to head back to campus to celebrate with the undergrads, we instead headed north to reunite with the Terrapin friends who just think they're still in the Sorority house.

Here's how that same photo looks if you move down a generation. All but one child made the shot, and miraculously the holdout wasn't one of ours.

Finally on Sunday we got some private lessons with Uncle Ken.

It was quite the treat to get a DC & Uncle Ken visit all wrapped up together.

Soak up the Sun

The California Jordan's recognize that we are woefully behind on updating pictures from the spring. While this has partly been due to us just lying around...

It's mostly been due to our purchase of this place back in March. While that has limited our free time, it hasn't limited our adventures, so over the next week I'll be putting up a new post every other night to catch you up on the adventures of our spring.

Laura took a trip she claimed was for business to Paris in February, although we mostly saw pics of food getting sent back across the pond during her week away.

We did our best to welcome her back with a Paris themed cake, although Bill's cake decorating skills leave much to be desired.

Perhaps appropriately since I'm now posting this the weekend of the French open final, we played a bit of tennis while she was away.

While Carson's groundstrokes are improving, Summer shows the real potential to follow in the footsteps of her daddy as a ballperson.

The weeks in Playa were getting quite short by this point, but before we close the books there we had one more family trip to the East Coast to cover, the details of which will be up in this space in just a couple of days.
