When Mom and Dad first told Carson that Uncle Ken and Aunt Emily were coming to visit, he did not know what to think
When his parents reminded him how much fun the visit would be, his fears were quickly alleviated, and a sense of hopeful optimism took over.
But when Uncle Ken arrived, Carson wasn't sure what to think.
Ken explained to Carson that the goal of the visit was to teach Carson about how to become a sophisticated gentleman of the 21st century. The two got to work right away with some light reading about emerging vacation destinations.
When Emily and Ken began to explain to Carson that being a man of leisure involved learning to relax and unwind, he started to wrap his head around the idea.
Carson displayed great aptitude in his studies and impressed his visitors with a display of his musical abilities.
Carson understood that he needed a strong body as well as strong mind, and the crew went to work on his upperbody, particularly his abs.
His trainers approved!
After a long day of working out, Carson expressed a desire to hit up a bar, enjoying the libations, without any whining.
While at the bar, Carson impressed many of the ladies with his repartee and knowledge of wine culture, "Dad, you know you can hold the red by the bowl," he quipped.
Finally, it was impressed upon Carson that a truly refined gentleman always looks his best. So the following day when he awoke, he got dressed in his finest clothes, looking his best for more family action.
Carson appreciated the tutelage of his cousin Vivian, a stylish young lady, already skilled in life's finer topics.
After such a rigorous weekend of astute learning, Carson was able to take repose with Aunt Beth and cousin Mary Jane.
When everyone returned home to L.A., Uncle Ken, Aunt Emily, and Carson reflected on their weekend, and commented on just how much fun they had.
