First, apparently just because I put on scrubs they felt the need for me to do something medical. Here I am making a truly pointless cutting of Carson's cord. For those of you who actually have medical degrees, don't worry, it would be cut again by somebody else with actual medical experience within the hour.
After that Carson and dad took a trip down to the nursery to get weighed. He wasn't entirely thrilled with this:
But then he posed nicely with Dad in the Nursery:
Once it was successfully established that he was a big baby we headed back to the recovery room hang with Mom.
He also got to meet Grandma Morris and Aunt Beth, although he was really more interested in having a snack:
After all his visitors left he got a chance to hang with Dad again:
Later in the day the hospital volunteers came by to drop off a new hat and booties:
Carson wasn't all that excited, he mostly napped:
At least until it was time for Mom and Dad to go to bed. Then he stayed up all night.
