If a Blog Posts From the Desert Does it Make a Sound

I'm not going to bother trying to explain why we haven't posted in a month, and instead just jump right into the pictures.

In a further effort to avoid a sparsely attended open house we spent the weekend of the 8th in Palm Springs with Ging-Ging and Pops.

Summer came prepared with multiple fruit themed pieces of swimwear.

As well as a little attitude to keep her brother in line.

Carson enjoyed the desert air as well.

Palm Springs has many opportunities for tennis be served up and golf to be played, but this is the closest we got to either.

Also joining us for the weekend was the newly engaged happy couple of Aunt Colleen and Fiance Uncle Scott.

Summer didn't drop the ball when it came to impressing Ging Ging.

She was less up for hiking in the nearby mountains, as this picture depicts roughly the closest her feet ever came to the trail.

Looking back to earlier weeks we skipped, Carson and Summer got some solid bonding in on a trip to Santa Barbara the first weekend in March.

Also that week Carson and I took in a special employee screening of the Lorax in 3D thanks to Laura's friend Stephanie.

Finally this past weekend we donned the blue and grey for one last time in basketball season.  Summer manages to keep a smile on her face, but Carson can't hide his disappointment that Jason Clark wasn't able to create his own Jonathan Wallace moment at the buzzer vs. NC State.
