It's Been So Long Since Last We Blogged

How long has it been since we've managed to post something new to the blog?  Well, as you'll see, cousin Mary Jane was still 7, Cupid's quiver was still full of arrows and we hadn't even considered putting our house on the market.


In that interim Summer partied with Grandma and Grampa at Rupert's birthday party.


It's been a birthday party full schedule for a few weekends, with festivities for Mary Jane's 8th taking us to some of the finest parks Santa Barbara has to offer.


Summer didn't get to ride the party bus, but did get a lift to the park.


Cupid apparently is the kind who shops at a second hand store.


Meanwhile, the dark knight rises.


If I got this thing up to 88 miles per hour Summer would have been sent back to 1955.


For those of you that follow our facebooks closely you'll already know that our place has gone on the market.  It was a very challenging process getting it ready, but as you can tell, everyone pitched in.

Here Comes the Sun

We had to take a week off because it's been too nice out to be inside looking at a computer.


Summer had to get all of her wear out of the Terps dress well in advance of March.


Carson got a jump on Valentine's Day when Laura stopped by the bakery on the way home from Glendale.

Most of our time last weekend was spent at the beach. 


Nobody told Carson & Summer that it was January.  I am lucky to still have all of my toes.


Despite what this picture would make you think, the sun had not done much to warm up the ocean temperature.


Fortunately, a little burrowing can warm you back up in a hurry.


Finally, this past week I got some good career news, and there is no better way to celebrate such things than with cupcakes.
