It's been a few weeks, but I only take partial blame as there wasn't a lot of material to work with until recently. Anyway, going back a few weeks, Carson and I made a brief visit to the LAPD Pacific Division's pancake breakfast.
Then after a brief stop at Lenny K we headed north to Santa Barbara.
The following weekend also remained mostly picture free as Laura and I were in Palm Springs for a wedding. Summer was happy to spend some time with her Ging-Ging though.
Finally this past weekend the camera came back out. After the last pair didn't survive a visit to the Lenny K lost and found, Carson debuted a new pair this week.
Summer has soured on the swimming a bit, but still does a mean float.
It's once again festival season in the Southbay, and of course that means pictures with firetrucks.
Demographics suggest this was a very chance meeting, as both people in this picture are named Carson. While the name did rank 89th in 2008 at roughly 0.1% of U.S. babies, in the 1970s (which we'll generously allow the salt and pepper of firefighter Carson to suggest) it ranked 766, or only one in every 20,000 babies.
Of course we couldn't have a street fair without a pony ride.
The amount of excitement Summer showed over this balloon made me feel like a bad parent. Had she really gone a whole year without getting a balloon of her own?
At least Aunt Colleen gives her a dog to chase after.
Sunday morning Carson and Summer got to experience what it's like to be a Bengals fan.
For some it leads to needing a disguise.
Others just get ready for basketball season.
