The kids (and Laura) did a fantastic job making me feel special for Father's Day with presents and pie.

Summer's crawling skills have really progressed. Now if truly motivated she'll crawl towards something, although she far prefers to just get assistance and walk.
Her swimming is making much better strides.
The house has been filled with music of late between Carson's new birthday gift from Aunt Colleen...
As well as whatever Summer is banging on at the moment.
Although he'll be back in the same classroom only 11 days later, Carson participated in "pre-school graduation".
Carson was more than ready to take a bite out of this cake.
24 hours earlier, on the actual big day, the home was appropriately festive.
Thea helped us to learn more about the power of the darkside with her gift.
In a truly giving move, Summer even left a hat on her head for more than 30 seconds.

Laura of course made an amazing shark cake. If you don't recall you can revisit birthday cakes one & two.
As if baking wasn't enough she also sewed a school of fish stuffed animals for any younger siblings that tagged along to the party.
PDR friend Connor was definitely dressed appropriately for the venue.
Carson would use more than 2 fingers on the shark made out of cake.
It's unclear when he got promoted from Lord to Captain.
The festive weekend continued on Sunday with Zach's birthday. Laura even got in a bounce.
Summer got tossed around a little on Sunday so she didn't feel left out.
While her crawling doesn't get her very far, she's getting quite mobile with the lion.
The force wasn't with the blog when it came to getting this post up in a timely fashion. However we would be remiss to not post the highlights from our Cincinnati trip so better late than never.
We picked up a bike trailer on Craigslist and gave it an inaugural spin over Memorial day weekend.
Summer is standing all over the place these days.
During our visit to the Cincinnati Zoo two weekends back Carson did his best Steve Irwin impression.
We also ran into Aunt Ginny, Uncle Jack, Barb and Heather.
We didn't need to run into Uncle Ken, he had come with us.
Laura & Summer enjoyed the greenery of Ohio.
The whole Jordan fam was in town for Rich Roedersheimer's wedding.
It was a sacrament heavy trip, we made a splash at church for Summer's Baptism while in Ohio.
Aunt Emily does an excellent job explaining to Carson where he is.
Of course no trip to the 'nati would be complete without a little tapioca at the Echo.
